Saturday, October 17, 2015 - Join us for our fundraising event to support Marine Life Studies' programs and witness the spectacular humpback whales feeding in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

Flip for Whales™ activities include: a continental breakfast with mimosas; guided whale watch with Blue Ocean Whale Watch aboard 60 ft. yacht High Spirits; raffle for great prizes and a live auction. 

Meet interns in Marine Life Studies' Research Scientist Program and members of the Whale Entanglement Team (WET), other Marine Life Studies' Ocean Stewards, and Peggy Stap, Executive Director and Co-Founder of WET.

Flip for Whales™ is a fundraiser that supports Marine Life Studies’:

• research scientist program, that teaches research techniques to college and high school interns during whale and dolphin research;

• the Whale Entanglement Team (WET);

• Take it to the Streets™ cleanup conservation program;

• free educational programs for children, youth, and adults, including special programs for children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, both Seaside and Salinas.

Arrive Moss Landing Harbor

Directions:
Highway 1 Northbound: Turn left before you pass the smoke stacks after "Surf City Coffee Co." and "The Whole Enchilada" restaurant onto Moss Landing Road. Make a slight right at Sandholdt Road and pull into the parking lot directly after the KOA RV park.
Highway 1 Southbound: Turn right after the smoke stacks onto Moss Landing Road, just before "The Whole Enchilada" restaurant. Make a slight right at Sandholdt Road and pull into the parking lot directly after the KOA RV park.
Blue Ocean Whale Watch is located on the far end of the parking lot. Check-in table is directly across from the Harbor Master's office. Look for the Blue Ocean Whale Watch Signs.
Parking: Parking permits may be purchased for $6.24 in the bright orange dispensaries by the Harbor Master's office.
