Marine Life Studies provides free educational programs to children and adults. We teach high school/college students data collection during boat surveys on the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary including animal behavior, collect marine debris and water samples for the California Health Department. We co-founded the Whale Entanglement Team (WET)®. We developed specialized educational programs for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County to promote environmental stewardship; including Whale & Marine Wildlife Adventure, Pollutions Solutions and Take it to the Streets™ Community Clean Up.

Take it to the Streets™ Community Cleanup - We foster a
respect for our environment. We stop trash in its tracks before it can enter our waterways and storm drains that lead to our lakes and our oceans. Local CSUMB college students volunteer as Ocean Stewards making a difference. |
Marine Life Studies' Research Scientist Program - College and high school students learn research techniques during boat surveys in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Interns come from all over the world to participate in the program. The Research Scientist Program provides a unique training platform for our Whale Entanglement Team (WET)®.
